Police: Hendersonville man shot, killed his own dogs

A Hendersonville man has been arrested after police say he intentionally shot and killed his own dogs. 

Officers responded to a shots-fired call on Sunday in the 100 block of Crosby Drive. 

Police said Christopher Lee Foutch, age 39, intentionally shot and killed his two dogs in his backyard.

He was arrested Monday and charged with two counts of aggravated cruelty to animals. 

Foutch was scheduled to appear in court on January 9.
