SMYRNA, Tenn. (WTVF) — Officials with the Smyrna Police Department asked for the public's help in their investigation of an attempted child abduction Wednesday afternoon.
Police say a man tried to take a child at Florence Commons Trailer Park. They say the child was able to break free and flag down a maintenance man, who took the child home.
The suspect was described as having long braids, facial hair, a short sleeve shirt, and dark pants. Officers were not able to locate the suspect.
