NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — One man has been arrested in connection to a deadly shooting in Sylvan Heights early Tuesday morning.
The shooting was reported just after midnight outside the home of 41-year-old Michael Richardson, who police said shot 55-year-old Marvin Lewis of Nashville.
Police did not say what led to the shooting but said evidence shows Richardson fired shots from inside the home, while Lewis was outside. Richardson then drove away in a silver SUV, but returned while officers were on the scene.
He refused to answers about the gunfire, according to police, and a gun was recovered in Richardson's bedroom.
Richardson has been charged with criminal homicide.
