Police have opened an investigation into a string of home break-ins in the Crieve Hall area of Nashville. Three were reported in just the span of three days.
Officials told NewsChannel 5 that on July 3, two people rang the doorbell to a home on Salem Drive. When they realized no one was home, they ransacked the place and stole jewelry and other items.
Another homeowner was burglarized on Wauford Drive. Police said the thief got in through an unlocked window.
The third burglary was Thursday on Cochran Drive. At this point, investigators couldn't say if all three crimes were committed by the same people.
