Police investigate three shootings in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Three people were injured overnight in separate shootings across Nashville.

The first happened before midnight, just north of Nashville, at the Waffle House on West Trinity Lane.

A couple was in a car when some guy walks up and fires a shot into the vehicle. A man was hit in the arm and drove to this nearby gas station for help.

Two other shootings took place in North Nashville.

Police say a man was shot near the Cumberland View Apartments on 25th Avenue North, just after midnight.

About an hour later, a man was critically injured in a shooting on 12th Avenue North. He was shot in the stomach and taken to the hospital by a friend.

So far, no arrests have been made in any of these cases.
