NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Reports of a shooting in the 12 south neighborhood involving two men dressed in black had late-night diners diving for cover on Friday.
Metro Police say the men's clothing had yellow lettering on it, and they were firing at another man in an Impala. That man eventually crashed and ran away.
It's not clear if the shooters were law enforcement -- but Metro police say it wasn't them.
"One man looked at our patio to say, 'Get down, get down, he has a gun,' so we all proceeded to get down under their tables," said Libby Catignani, a diner in 12 South Friday evening.
Police say one was hit during the shooting.
