Police have determined the identity of the body that was found in a location off the Buffalo Road area in Trigg County yesterday.
It was determined during an autopsy completed this morning that Keith "Joey: Hayes Jr, 35 of Hopkinsville, who was reported missing on Tuesday, was killed by multiple gunshots. While the preliminary investigation revealed foul play, Kentucky State Police have stated they believe Hayes' death to be an isolated incident and not a random act of violence.
