A Hendersonville man has been arrested for the death of his wife after her body was located in a home earlier this week.

Autrey Dye Jr. was arrested this afternoon on first degree murder changes. Investigators say the manner of death was strangulation.

Hendersonville Police Department identified a woman who was found dead inside her home Wednesday afternoon. Investigators called her death suspicious.

Officers were called to a home on Maple Drive at about 1:40p.m. Wednesday. According to police, they found Allison Dye, 50, dead inside. There was another person inside the home who was taken to a hospital for a medical evaluation, officers said.

Police are not releasing Dye's cause of death or whether they believe the second person who was found in the home was involved.

Hendersonville Police Department asked anyone with information on the case to call and talk with detectives at (615) 264-5303.
