A Hendersonville man has been arrested for the death of his wife after her body was located in a home earlier this week.
Autrey Dye Jr. was arrested this afternoon on first degree murder changes. Investigators say the manner of death was strangulation.
Hendersonville Police Department identified a woman who was found dead inside her home Wednesday afternoon. Investigators called her death suspicious.
Officers were called to a home on Maple Drive at about 1:40p.m. Wednesday. According to police, they found Allison Dye, 50, dead inside. There was another person inside the home who was taken to a hospital for a medical evaluation, officers said.
Police are not releasing Dye's cause of death or whether they believe the second person who was found in the home was involved.
