Three people are dead following a murder-suicide in the 200 block of Cana Circle in West Meade.
According to police, 65-year-old Gayle Andrews-Miller's shot and killed two members of her family: mother Rachel Andrews and her sister Barbara Andrews. A suicide note was found at Gayle Andrews-Miller's home.
Police say it's believed that Gayle Andrews-Miller was in declining physical health.
One of the victims called 911 before the shooting took place. According to police, the 911 operator could hear one of the victims pleading for her life.
All three women had gunshot wounds to the chest.
The Metro Dispatch Center received a 911 call from Rachel Andrews in which they could hear the 95-year-old woman saying “please don’t kill me.” Then someone else said “I have to, momma. Momma, hang the phone up.”

When police arrived at the scene, Rachel Andrews was still alive and rushed to Vanderbilt Hospital. She died at the hospital.
The shooting took place at The Cloister at St. Henry, which neighbors tell us is a condominium complex for people over 65-years old.
