NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Police need your help to find a man who attacked a woman running on a trail in West Nashville Monday afternoon.
Police say the woman was running on a trail at the West Park Greenway off Morrow Road when she was attacked by a man, who hit her with a blunt object as she passed him.
The 34-year-old victim told police the man then grabbed her from behind. She was able to push the man away and run toward a nearby community center where help was called.
Police say the woman's attacker was wearing dirty jeans and a black face mask. He is close to six feet tall and weighs about 150 lbs.
