Police looking for vehicle in deadly pedestrian crash

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Clarksville Police officials asked for the public's help in their search for a vehicle involved in a deadly pedestrian crash.

Investigators are looking for a 4-door car with damage to the passenger side front headlight area. There are no other identifiers at this time.

Police say 77-year-old Lilburn L. Evitts of Clarksville was killed in the incident Thursday night.

Police were initially searching for a man who they said may have vital information about the incident. He surrendered to police and was interviewed by detectives. He is no longer a person of interest in the case.
