Police: 'major' drug supplier and dealer arrested in drug bust

COLUMBIA, Tenn. (WTVF) — Maury County Sheriff's deputies made a large drug bust and arrested a man they say is a major drug supplier in the area.

"We fight the supply and the demand for drugs in Maury County. Today, we hit a major supplier of Meth and Heroin. Great job guys," Sheriff's Department officials said in a Facebook Post.

Deputies arrested Barry Watkins and charged him with several drug charges.

Barry's charges were listed as unlawful possession of a firearm, Possession of a schedule 2 meth for resale, possession of a schedule 1 heroin for resale, possession stolen property X 2, possession of drug paraphernalia, alteration of the engine or serial number, Sale of a schedule 2 Meth.
