NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Nashville Police responded to a home where a man was apparently beaten to death.
Police officials say 39-year-old James C. Seber went to a doctor's appointment Friday afternoon. There, he told staff his housemate was dead at their home.
First responders were contacted. The Nashville Fire Department forced their way into the home on Woodcraft Ct., and found 66-year-old Stephen P. Walker dead on the floor.
Seber told detectives he last spoke with Walker Thursday night. He said he woke up to find the clothing he had worn the night before had blood on it.
Police say the blood evidence on the clothing shows that someone was in a physical altercation.
Seber was arrested and charged with criminal homicide.
