NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A 29-year-old man was shot and killed at a gas station in Antioch early Sunday morning. Metro police believe robbery is a potential motive in the shooting.
Officers said Alexis Chacon, of Antioch, was shot near the gas pumps at the Twice Daily market on Cane Ridge Road.
He went inside the market around 2 a.m. and while inside, police said a gray or silver Chrysler sedan drove into the parking lot and the occupants waited for Chacon to return to his vehicle. When he did, two men from the Chrysler approached him, a struggled ensued and Chacon was shot, Metro police said.
The two men then got back into the Chrysler and drove onto Bell Road.
The investigation into the shooting is on-going. Metro police ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
