NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro police said a man was shot and killed in an East Nashville apartment on Thursday afternoon.
Robert Coughlin, 23, was inside a home where he rented an apartment in the 600 block of Shelby Avenue when he was shot around 3:30 p.m.
He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police said two young men were seen fleeing the scene in a silver sedan. Officers believe Coughlin was familiar with the two suspects.
