NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police are investigating a shooting on the 2500 block of Batavia Street in Nashville.
Metro Nashville Police officials say a 40-year-old man was shot in the back while riding a bike Thursday evening.
The man reportedly got into an argument with someone prior to the shooting, but it's unclear what it was over.
Officers arrived on scene gave the man help until medics arrived. He was rushed to the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in critical condition.
