Police: Man Tried To Board Nashville Flight Without ID

Posted

Airport security stopped a man who allegedly tried to board an airplane without identification and was posing as someone else.

Officials with Metro Nashville Police said TSA employees at Nashville International Airport became suspicious of a traveler who went through a security checkpoint with no identification, which meant he'd have to go through additional screening.

At that point, the suspect turned and left the checkpoint but police were called to follow up. They determined the man was living out of his car in long term parking lot B.

A police report said he did have an airline ticket to fly to Dallas, but was using someone else's name to buy the ticket.

He was booked now on criminal impersonation.
