Posted

A man who was hired to do flooring work at a Clarksville home is accused of stealing nearly $3,000 worth of jewelry from the residence.

Clarksville police said Jeramie Privette was doing some flooring work for a company at the victim's Memorial Drive home, when the homeowner noticed that her jewelry was missing.

The items included a 1-carat diamond set of earrings, a pendant and headphones – all valued at $2,800.

The items were recovered at a pawn shop and Privette was linked to the theft.

Officers think he could be anywhere, possibly in the Nashville area. Anyone seeing him should call 911.
