A man accused of robbing a pizza delivery woman was arrested, and police believe he may be connected to other robberies in Hermitage over the past year.

Metro Nashville detectives arrested Jamond Curry Sunday night. They said he fits the description of a man believed to be robbing pizza delivery drivers in Hermitage.

The latest robbery happened Tuesday, when police said a Papa Johns delivery woman was robbed at gunpoint at the Lakeside Apartments on Bell Road.

The driver told police she was walking up the stairs to an apartment when the gunman appeared. She gave him $40 in cash, and he left.

She called police when she got back to Papa Johns.

Metro police said the apartment complex and the one next to it had several pizza delivery robberies in the past year, all with the similar suspect description.

Investigators said Curry lives in the same apartment building where Tuesday's robbery happened. Metro police said he was on their radar as a person of interest in these cases.

At this point, Curry is not yet charged in the other robberies.
