Police Program Leaves Flyers Behind For Business

Metro Nashville Police Officers have begun a new initiative of protecting local businesses, and leaving behind proof of their surveillance for business owners.

Rather than just patrolling their beats, officers have taken it a step further, and  business owners said they were grateful.

During their patrols officers walk up to businesses overnight checking doors and windows making sure they’re secure, but before walking away they leave a flyer.

Those notices document that the business was sufficiently checked. Officers left them on the doors of all the businesses at the Shoppes at 2940 Murfreesboro Pike.

Business owners said me they’ve had no issues with crime, but were thankful police officers have shown that they care. And those Officers continue to add different businesses to their daily patrol routes.

The Metro police program covers all of Davidson County.
