One man was killed and another injured in a shooting in Nashville.
The call came from the 3500 block of Couchville Pike Wednesday night.
Officials said Metro Nashville Police officers responded to the shooting around 8:30 p.m.
When paramedics arrived, the victim's body was found outside of a residence. The victim was identified on Thursday as 62-year-old George D. Talley.
The second male victim, identified as 31-year-old Matthew Talley, the son of the man who was killed, was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers said on Wednesday that George Talley and 53-year-old Joseph Scott Drummond had allegedly been in an argument.
Matthew Talley told police he saw Drummond with a gun and admitted he also had a pistol. It's believed both Drummond and Matthew Talley fired shots.
Reports stated both men who shot claimed they fired in self-defense.
