Authorities with the Metro Nashville Police Department surrounded an elementary school after multiple calls in just a two days.

Police on scene said they were called out to Granbery Elementary School on the south side of town for a possible burglary. It was the third time they were called out in just a couple days.

Around 2 a.m. Sunday, officials surrounded the school near Old Hickory Boulevard and sent a K9 in to search for the possible burglar.

The K9 did pick up a scent and led police to the roof. After searching for about an hour, they determined no one was inside anymore.

However, this was the first time police caught someone on camera during the incident. They're still working to figure out if anything was taken.

It was not clear at this point whether or not the same people have been involved in all three incidents over the past two days.

A description of who was inside had not yet been released as the investigation continued.
