Shooting Victim Drives To Gas Station; Refuses To Cooperate With Police

Metro Nashville Police officers have responded to a reported shooting in the area of Dickerson Pike.

Witnesses told officers a man with a gunshot wound drove himself to a gas station at 701 Dickerson Pike. He said he had been shot in the leg.

The victim was uncooperative. Police said he refused to give his name, or motive for the shooting, but wanted medical attention. 

Officers saw, in plain view, a small amount of marijuana in the vehicle. A moderate amount of blood was also visible throughout the interior of the vehicle.

Officers were canvassing the area for available surveillance video.
