Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department confirmed they’ve responded to a reported shooting in Nashville.

The incident took place on Nolensville Pike and Barnes Road on Friday afternoon.

According to police, the victim was 20-year-old, who arranged to sell a camera on an app. They were supposed to meet up at a Walmart Walmart parking lot near the location of the shooting.

The alleged buyer took the camera and without paying for it; so the victim followed. That's when the buyer fired a shot at the victim's.

The victim suffered a non-critical nose injury. The shooter then drove away from the scene.

Officers found a gun in the victim's car on the passenger seat, believed to be an air pistol. Officers believed the victim may have showed their gun and that the buyer shot as a result.
