Police are searching for two teens who've been identified and charged in an armed robbery of a woman in Antioch.
According to Metro Nashville Police officials, 18-year-old Michael Russell and 15-year-old Brandon Caruthers robbed a woman in the parking lot of Hickory Lake Apartments on Apache Trail.
Police say they confronted a 54-year-old woman with guns at 5 a.m. on Aug. 5. They allegedly pounded on her windows and demanded she get out or they would kill her.
When she got out of the car, the men took her purse and threw her to the ground. They then used her debit card at a Kroger store on Murfreesboro Pike.
They were both charged with aggravated robbery.
This past Saturday at 5 a.m., Craig Crisp, 24, was killed in the parking lot of the same apartment complex.
Crisp told responding officers that he was shot during a robbery just before he was rushed to the hospital, where he died. Detectives want to ask Russell and Caruthers if they also have any knowledge of Crisp’s murder.
Anyone seeing Michael Russell or Brandon Caruthers is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
