Police Search For Car Burglars In Mt. Juliet

Multiple unlocked vehicles were broken into in the Cobblestone Landing and Chandler Pointe neighborhoods in Mt. Juliet. 

According to police, a group scavenged Hedgewood Lane, Warren Hill Drive, and Newberry Lane in search of unlocked cars with items of value inside. When they would find an unlocked car, it was ransacked.

The burglars only made away with cash from one car, but four other cars were ransacked. In one particular incident, a suspect was captured on surveillance video around 4:30 a.m.

Police reminded residents o remove all valuables from their cars and ensure doors are locked to prevent such crimes.
