NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Nashville Police detectives are working to identify a driver responsible for hitting and killing a woman in Nashville.
The deadly crash happened Oct. 26. Police say 62-year-old Mary M. Brown was hit when she was crossing 4th Avenue South at Church Street just before 6 a.m.
She was hit by a westbound black four-door sedan. The driver did not stop. Brown, of Nashville, was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center where she died four days later.
The suspect vehicle was hood and windshield (passenger side) was damaged. Anyone who recognizes the vehicle or has information about its driver was asked to call Hit & Run investigators at 862-7738 or Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
