A search has gotten underway in Clarksville for the driver in a hit and run crash that left a motorcyclist critically injured.
Clarksville Police officers said the crash happened late Sunday night on Providence Road.
The motorcyclist, identified as 31-year-old Ronnie Waller, was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and in extremely critical condition.
Police said Tuesday his condition had been upgraded to stable.
A rocker panel fell off of the car during the crash and was left at the scene.
Officers identified the car as a 2008-2016 Chevy Impala that was dark gray or silver.
