NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Nashville Police investigators asked for the public's help in their efforts to identify a hit-and-run driver that critically injured a pedestrian on April 11.
It happened on the 1100 block of Bell Road. Police say 59-year-old Cyprien Munyangeyo was crossing Bell Road near his apartment complex at 9:30 p.m.when he was hit by a newer model Chrysler 300 which sustained damage to the front grill and is missing chrome trim.
Munyangeyo, who was not in a crosswalk, is in stable condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he is expected to make a full recovery.
