NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Nashville Police detectives are working to identify a robbery suspect who they say robbed five businesses within 12 hours.
Police say the man hit the following businesses and hotels Thursday night into Friday morning.
- Cash Express, 1 p.m. Thursday, 2548 Lebanon Pike;
- Wyndham Hotel, 11:40 p.m. Thursday, 1 Century Boulevard;
- Courtyard by Marriot, 11:45 p.m. Thursday, 2508 Elm Hill Pike (attempted);
- Mapco, 12:05 a.m. Friday, 465 Donelson Pike (attempted);
- Best Western, 12:20 a.m. Friday, 201 Music City Circle.
In each of the hotel hold-ups, he asked about room rates just before the robberies.
The suspect was described as a man with a beard, 5'11" tall with a medium build. He wore a black knit hat, dark blue “All Star” jacket with a logo on the back, a yellow traffic vest underneath the jacket, and black cargo pants. The suspect fled the Mapco robbery in a dark sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Malibu.
