Police search for person of interest in Nashville shooting

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man was injured in a shooting in Nashville near Nissan Stadium, and police detectives are working to identify a man wanted for questioning.

Metro Police officials say a 48-year-old man was injured in the shooting near South 2nd Street and Victory Avenue Wednesday.

It happened around 12:40 p.m. after an argument. The victim allegedly followed the gunman who then fired several shots at him. The victim was taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The gunman ran away across the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.
