Investigators with the Metro Nashville Police Department asked for the public's help in locating suspects in a robbery and shooting suspect.

It happened Sept. 26 on the corner of Lea Avenue and Hermitage Avenue.

Police said 27-year-old Dietrich Minor was robbed then shot by two suspects who then fled in a silver or gray SUV, possibly a GMC Acadia.

Minor was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he was still recovering.

Investigators believed the same men were responsible for a robbery minutes earlier at 9:45 p.m. at the intersection of 3rd Avenue South and Lea Avenue.

Reginald Collins, 36, was robbed at gunpoint, but was not injured.

The first suspect was described as a white man in his 20s who is tall and thin and wore a red hooded sweatshirt and/or a red hat and black pants.

The second suspect  was described as a black man in his 20s who is approximately 5’10” tall with an average build, and wore a white shirt with a pattern, a gray hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans.

Officers asked anyone with information about the suspects to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.

A benefit was planned at Batter's Box this Saturday to raise money for Minor's medical care. For information on the event, click here.
