A man was enjoying his food at Steak N Shake when he noticed a thief stealing items out of his truck through the window.
The man called police, but the suspect got away after a short chase.
Hendersonville Police Officers said it happened Tuesday at the Steak N Shake on North Anderson Lane.
The victim saw the man taking items from the back of his work truck. The suspect then loaded the items into a white Toyota Tundra extended cab and drove away.
Police said the suspect was believed to be a serial burglar who was possibly connected to other burglaries currently being investigated by Gallatin Police Department and Goodlettsville Police Department.
Officials asked anyone with information on this burglary or the others in Gallatin and Goodlettsville to call the Hendersonville Crime Stoppers at 615-573-5400.
