Police search for serial cell phone store robber

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Nashville Police detectives are searching for a serial robbery suspect, who has targeted cell phone stores.

Since Sept., he's hit five stores and all between the hours of 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.

  • November 24, Cricket, 825 Murfreesboro Pike
  • November 17, 97B Wallace Road, Metro PCS (gun)
  • November 10, Boost Mobile, 3734 Nolensville Pike
  • September 16, T Mobile, 321 Harding Place

The man was described as being in his late 30s or early 40s and has a large build. He was caught on camera changing clothes behind the dumpster of a fast food restaurant after he held up the Cricket Wireless store on Largo Drive in South Nashville.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect in the surveillance photographs was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
