NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Nashville police arrested two teenagers who escaped from a Donelson youth facility early Thursday.
Officers were sent to the Academy for Young Men on Stewarts Ferry Pike just before 2 a.m. Thursday.
One of the escapees was taken into custody quickly, but officers had to look for the second teen for hours. He was arrested at about 4 a.m.
There have been several incidents at the facility over the years, including one escape involving a violent teenager just this past September. In 2017, groups of kids escaped and a guard was attacked.
