BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Police have asked for help identifying a woman who they said stole from a senior citizen.
Investigators said that the woman befriended the woman, who was in her 80s, by having a conversation outside of the Moore's Lane Publix in Brentwood.
The suspect was then able to get a ride with the elderly victim, and convinced her to withdraw several thousand dollars from a bank.
The thief then said she had a weapon, and took off with her cash.
Investigators have offered a $1,000 reward for any information in the case. If you recognize the suspect, they have asked that you call Crime Stoppers at 615-794-4000.
