NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police said they were searching for an armed man after an early morning gas station robbery.
The incident happened at the Mapco on the corner of Smith Springs Road and Anderson Road.
A clerk told police he was mopping when he spotted a man walking in with a gun.
The clerk then ran out the door as the suspect grabbed cash from the counter before fleeing the scene.
He was described as a male dressed in all black, standing around 5’6’’ and weighing approximately 180 pounds.
Police said so far no suspect had been identified.
