NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man was shot and killed in a shooting on Elm Hill Pike in Nashville, and police are searching for the gunman.
Metro Nashville Police officials say 20-year-old Isaac Lamont Thomas was found with critically wounded on the sidewalk near the Baymont Inn and Suites.
Officers responded to the call around 2 p.m. Thursday. Thomas was sent to the hospital but died shortly after getting to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Witnesses told police the gunman and Thomas were involved in an argument just before the shooting. The suspect was described as a man with dreadlocks in a ponytail who wore a black shirt and white pants.
