NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police are searching for a man who allegedly shot his girlfriend during a domestic dispute on Wednesday afternoon.
Sherwin A. Allen is being sought on an arrest warrant charging felony aggravated assault for the shooting that occurred at 14th Avenue North and Herman Street.
Allen's girlfriend, 39-year-old Tanisha Johnson was shot in the leg during an alleged argument between Allen and Johnson's adult son.
The gun that is believed to have been used in the shooting was located in a dumpster nearby.
Allen fled in a silver Chrystler Pacifica.
