Police have asked the public’s help in identifying a suspect who allegedly attacked a clerk during a robbery in Nashville.
The incident happened at 8:20 p.m. Thursday at Marley’s Market on Lafayette Street.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said the suspect entered the store and asked the clerk about an item that was in a display case.
When the employee went to get the item, police said the man pulled out a large rock, jumped behind the counter and assaulted the clerk. The suspect took money from the store and fled.
The clerk was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries to his face, arm and side.
