Police seize 3.8lbs. of marijuana from South Nashville home

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Two South Nashville residents were arrested on Tuesday after detectives seized 3.8 pounds of marijuana from their home in the 500 block of Timmons Street.

Martha Stamps, 57, and an unidentified 17-year-old have both been charged with felony marijuana possession.

Police seized items that are consistent with marijuana sales such as baggies, scales, and a shrink wrap device. Additionally, detectives retrieved $3,461 in cash.

Stamps was also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

In addition, Elijah Espinal, 19, who was present at the time the search warrant was executed, was also charged with felony marijuana possession.
