Police in East Tennessee said an officer-involved shooting during a domestic disturbance call injured one man.
Media reported the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has been probing the Saturday morning shooting by a Roane County officer.
TBI officials said 47-year-old David Daugherty was fired on after he pointed a handgun at a deputy from the porch of his home in Harriman. Daugherty was struck by bullets in the torso and then airlifted to a hospital for treatment. His condition was not available Saturday afternoon.
Another suspect at the home was taken into custody. Officers were called there to respond to a domestic disturbance.
