According to police, Micheli made a couple stops after killing his former employer, 46-year-old Joel Paavola,  with a hatchet and some kind of bladed instrument at Balance Fitness, located on Harding Pike.

Police say he requested a suture kit, but when he learned they weren't sold at the urgent care, he left to go to a drug store.

About an hour later, Micheli was seen at a Gallatin drug store where he bought medical items.

Micheli reportedly used to worked at Balance Fitness, which was owned by Paavola.

Paavola died en route to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. A  gofundme  account was set up for Paavola, who was married with five children.

Micheli was arrested in Washington, D.C. for unlawful entry at a checkpoint near the White House.

Police asked citizens to continue to be on the lookout for Micheli. If you see him, call 615-862-8600. He is likely to be in the silver Toyota Prius.

Micheli was arrested Tuesday night by Kentucky State Police on I-65 near Bowling Green after being spotted by a motorist.

He was driving the Toyota Prius. He was booked into the Warren County Jail at about 1:20 a.m. Wednesday.
