Police vehicle collides with a power pole, officer walks away unharmed

TENNESSEE CITY, TENN. (WTVF) — A Dickson County Sheriff's Deputy is unharmed after his patrol car hit a pole early Saturday morning.

According to the Tennessee City Fire Department, the arrived at the intersection of Hortense Road and Union Road around 1:30 a.m. to find the officer's patrol vehicle on its side off an embankment.

At the time the Deputy was already out of his vehicle and was evaluated by an EMS.

The collision also causes the power pole to be knocked down. It was currently blocking the road to other traffic. Crews with Dickson Electric Department began working immediately to restore power to the Union Road area that was affected.
