CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police are working to identify a woman seen using stolen checks and a fake Kentucky ID at a bank in Clarksville.
She was seen attempting to cash the checks, one for $400 that was successful and one for $4,500 that was unsuccessful. Police said when the second check did not work, she ran from the bank.
The stolen checks were made out to the woman using a valid bank account number, police said.
