Incumbent Republican House Speaker Beth Harwell has won re-election as well as incumbent Marsha Blackburn who won re-election in Tennessee's 7th Congressional District.
Harwell beat out her opponent Chris Moth 58% to 42% for the 56th District. She celebrated her win on Twitter.

Blackburn won by defeating Democrat Tharon Chandler.
A member of Congress since 2002, Blackburn has been considered a possible contender for Tennessee governor in 2018.
The 7th District has been located in the southwestern and middle portion of Tennessee between Nashville and Jackson.
