Portion of Broadway to close for Tootsie's 59th Birthday Bash

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — One block of Broadway will close Wednesday during Tootsie's Birthday Bash.

Drivers will not be permitted through Fourth and Fifth Avenue for the all-day street party celebrating the honky tonk's 59th anniversary. The street will be closed from 5 a.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday.

Tootsie's free block party begins at 12 p.m. with live music performances until midnight.

The event will be headlined by Brantley Gilbert, who is celebrating the release of his fourth album Fire & Brimstone.

Randy Houser, Jon Pardi, Lee Brice, Darryl Worley, Terri Clark, Montgomery Gentry and Payton Smith are among the list of performers.
