Officials with Tennessee Bureau of Investigation have charged a Portland Firefighter with the sexual assault of a child.
According to TBI agents, David Wilber sexually assaulted a child on several occasions between Aug. 2014 and Aug. 2015.
They began investigating David Wilber on March 3.
On March 7, the Sumner County Grand Jury returned indictments charging the 37-year-old Portland man with three counts of Sexual Battery by an Authority Figure.
Authorities arrested him Friday and booked him into the Sumner County Jail on $20,000 bond. He has since bonded out.
