NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro police responded to a Madison car dealership overnight after a janitor discovered several ransacked offices.
Officers swept the building but did not find anyone. However, they did find that some duct work in the ceiling was disturbed.
Police think that someone either hid there or that’s how he or she got out after the break-in.
Most @MNPDNashville officers have left Music City Honda after sweeping the building. Evidence suggests someone broke-in and was concealed in the duct work at some point. @NC5 pic.twitter.com/DSOszqwYB6

The response was prompted after a female janitor came to work around 1 a.m. and heard noises. When she rounded a corner, she found several offices out of order.
She called 911 and officers showed up in less than five minutes, where they found ceiling tiles on the ground.
The special response team was called in and surrounded the building. They looked around and inside for about five hours.
It’s unclear if anything was taken from the dealership.
