NASHVILLE, Tenn. – It’s the weekend to show appreciation to all fathers, and the Nashville Predators got in on the action by hosting a Father's Day luncheon and open house.

Fathers, families, and fans got to enjoy a complimentary boxed lunch at Bridgestone Arena, meet Preds broadcasting personalities, and participate in family activities, like face painting.

It was a great way to show dad how much he's appreciated.

“It’s awesome,” said Mike Vallone, a father and Preds fan. “There's a bunch of other dads here with their kids and daughters. It’s not super crowded, so you can kind of familiarize yourself with this place. Free food. Nash is here, the cheerleaders are here. It’s been awesome.”

The event also gave fans a chance to buy season tickets and receive a free Preds golf shirt.
